The First Hello

It all began at a summer picnic, where our paths crossed but our words did not. I noticed her that day, though she didn’t notice me, a small moment that would later become part of our story.

Our paths crossed again at a church event, where we finally had the chance to talk. At one point, I smiled and said, “I saw you at the picnic.” What had been an unnoticed moment suddenly became a shared memory.

Our story continued to unfold naturally. What started as simple conversations grew into friendship, and, somewhere along the way, something much deeper.

And that is how our story began.

When It Became Us 👫🏽

For two years, we simply enjoyed the beauty of friendship, never knowing what it would become. But like a flower quietly reaching for the light, our friendship began to bloom into love, slowly and beautifully.

The turning point arrived at a birthday celebration where she was also a guest. In that moment, the atmosphere shifted. There was a radiance about her that captured my attention so completely that I found it impossible to look away. It was more than a visual spark; it was a profound pulling of my heart.

A few weeks later, during a phone call that had stretched for hours, blurring the line between night and morning, in the soft honesty of that moment, I spoke my heart plainly: how I could already see a future where our lives would become one.

In the quiet spaces between the noise of life, we found a rare comfort in one another. We weren't just falling in love, we were growing in faith, learning to pray together, and trusting that God was writing a story far more beautiful than we could have planned on our own.

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." — Ecclesiastes 4:12

We leaned into that promise. With God at the center, holding us together through every season, our love and bond is not only deepened, it is made unshakable.

The Yes 💍

Then came the moment that changed everything.

A moment that held not just a question, but the possibility of a lifetime. And in that stillness, there was no hesitation, only peace.

In a way that felt both intimate and unforgettable, he asked… and with a full heart, I said yes💍

Because I believe God created him intentionally for me. In the way he looks at me, notices the little things, and loves me so sincerely, I see a reflection of how deeply God Himself loves me.

This was not a coincidence. It was God, beautifully shaping a love story I could never have written on my own.

With grateful hearts, we step into this new chapter excited to see all that God has yet to unfold. 💍🤍

Our Forever Begins

And now, we stand at the edge of forever. Every step has led us here, to this beautiful moment of becoming.

And so, their love begins to bloom. 🌸
